Pat, company founder and Apollo’s President, attended McMaster University in Hamilton and Carleton University in Ottawa, studying Business and Economics. Pat has also completed a number of courses offered by (BOMA) Building Owners and Managers Association including Design, Operation of Building Systems Parts I and II, Real Property Law, Real Estate Investment and Finance and Environmental Health & Safety Issues. Prior to joining a large area development firm in 1989, Pat was employed by a major international real estate firm, gaining broad experience in property management, as well as real estate sales and marketing.

Pat currently oversees his management team in the direction of all property management functions of Apollo, including commercial, residential and condominium management, investor relations and project co-ordination.

Pat is an active member of the Ottawa Chapter of BOMA and has served as one of the judges for BOMA’s Annual Building and Property Management awards competition. He is an active member and committee chair with the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, and a member of the steering Committee for the Regional Linkages Committee. Pat has also served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity.

Lynn Heaston

Lynn has 20 years of property management experience; covering condominium, commercial, and construction management serving the property management industry. Lynn has attained certifications in BOMA’s RPA designation programs such as Real Property Accounting, Real Property Administration and Risk Management and Insurance from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Lynn has also been active as Vice Chair on various BOMA Committees and is Past Chair of the Building Awards Recognition Program.   Lynn’s core principles are working towards “Greening Up” portfolios by education and awareness to stakeholders through implementation of an APOLLO corporate sustainable program.   She has successfully achieved processing properties through to qualifying for BOMA BESt certification status for the Commercial portfolio and is facilitating those projects through to completion.   Lynn has also dedicated the year towards the completion of the Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate certification program, specializing in Operations & Maintenance (LEED EB-OM) of Existing Buildings applicable to the condominium and commercial properties.  Through Lynn’s tenure, APOLLO is also now a member of the Canadian Green Building Council Ottawa Region Chapter (ORC), a nonprofit corporation that fosters the development of green buildings and the green building community in Ottawa, Gatineau, Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.  Lynn is presently the Vice Chair of the Existing Buildings Committee-ORC which is participating in an advocacy mandate to foster sustainable design, construction and management of buildings in the National Capital Region of Canada.

Kandas Miller

Kandas, in her 8th year at APOLLO, is the General Manager of Corporate Services. Working directly with the APOLLO executive team, she is involved in all administration, service and support teams and systems as well as business development strategies. Kandas leads the administrative support network at APOLLO and ensures the seamless coordination of all corporate initiatives. She is a motivated team leader with an aptitude for providing expert advice to senior management regarding various standards and operating principles of Property Management. Kandas handles all aspects of investor relations for APOLLO and works together with property owners to provide the highest level of service to clients. With her strong communication skills and a flair for outside the box thinking, Kandas manages all facets of creative corporate documents. She holds a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Kandas has also recently obtained her Real Estate Salespersons designation through the Real Estate Council of Ontario.

Debbie Wilson is our newest team member at APOLLO and is the General Manager of the Condominium Division.

Debbie has a vast amount of Condominium experience.  She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO).  She is the on-line teacher of the Condominium Law Course for ACMO through Mohawk College.  This is one of the four courses that managers are required to pass in order to obtain their Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) designation.  She sits on the Regional Committee for ACMO planning events around Ontario.  She is on the Professional Development committee for ACMO that ensures that education remains a high priority.

Debbie has also served as the past President of the Ottawa Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute.  Debbie is currently on the committee for ACMO CCI joint ventures that are working on a one day seminar in Ottawa on May 31st, 2013. Debbie has written a number of articles for the CM magazine.  She has been a speaker on Condominiums at numerous events such as Ottawa Home Show, Ottawa Renovation Show and was a speaker at the ACMO CCI Conference in Toronto in the fall of 2012.

Debbie believes in giving back to the industry that she has served for a long time and continues to ensure that Property Managers and Board members have the tools and knowledge to smoothly run a Condominium Corporation properly.

Community Initiatives
